What a wonderful day!

Well I have to say... Yesterday was a Wonderful day! T and I got up late, I quilted and watched some back-logged shows on my Tivo, and then went to bed at a sensible time! We have had the windows open for the past few days and the house has a lovely fresh breeze flowing through it. We had a thunderstorm today, and even now I can hear the thunder off in the distance. The frogs are making their froggy noises... and other than that all is quiet. I have been off of work for 3 days now, and have 2 more to go, so I have had some time to destress. I really do feel the best I have felt in a long time! Work has just been so darn stressfull lately.   So, you ask me, Why are you up at such a horrifically early time of the morning? Simple. Working the nightshift messes with your mind! lol When I am off I try to go to bed at T's bedtime, but especially when I sleep late the morning before I have trouble staying asleep!

So let me tell you where I am at with my quilt... I have made approximately 30 squares, and I have decided after laying them out that a design wall could really come in handy! I think I will make maybe another 7-8. I am having a trouble with running out of fabric! I didn't expect I would make it as big as I am. After I have them done I am going to have to take one of each of my squares back to the quilt shop and find some matching fabric to use as a border, then something for the back and something for the binding. Then I need to find some batting and figure out how to baste. Wow... as I say this I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed. Mostly cause I have no idea how to do binding or basting. I only learned the words about a month ago!  I guess it would help if I took a picture of what I have so far so someone can give me some feed back on it!

Well I am going to get this posted, fiddle with my blog settings for a while and then maybe try to go get a little more sleep!
